AbstrakThe people of Indonesia and Thailand are still dependent on fossil fuel-based energy consumption. On the other hand, the effects caused by fossil energy can cause environmental damage and non-renewable energy. The focus of this research is to convert used cooking oil into biodiesel production using green catalysts derived from agro-industrial waste, including bone derivative products, chicken bones, and egg shells. Biodiesel products can be used as alternative fuels that are environmentally friendly. Cao catalyst produced from agro-industry waste derivatives can be used to increase biodiesel production. The characteristics of the catalyst used are FTIR, XRD, BET, SEM, and TGA analysis. Through this research, we raise two topics of waste, namely used cooking oil and agro-industrial waste into useful products. In addition, the expected output is in the form of innovation in biodiesel processing using catalysts and other outputs in the form of International index Scopus publications: International Energy Journal and International Journal of Renewable Energy Research
