AbstrakRecently, many publications have aimed to interpret the Quran in light of the experimental sciences, as seen by the proliferation of exegesis and scientific miracles. In addition, numerous international organizations and corporations were created and are responsible for developing this sector by spending vast sums of money on Islamic countries and institutions worldwide. In the Muslim world, two distinct approaches to science have emerged during the past several decades. The first technique, Al-Tafsīr Al-'Ilmī, employs modern scientific knowledge to restore and emphasize the true meaning of Qur'anic texts. The second strategy is known as Al-I'jāz Al-'Ilmī (scientific miracle). As part of the Muslim world, Indonesian and Malay intellectuals have addressed the scientific interpretation of the Quran in their numerous publications. The purpose of this research, the first, is to analyze the development of qur'anic scientific interpretation in Indonesia and Malaysia. Second, determining the challenges could be raised in the contemporary era. Third, the comparison between the two countries, Indonesia and Malaysia, in terms of the development of Qur'anic scientific interpretation and the challenges of it. This research is a qualitative research-library study that examines all of Indo-Malay's works on Al-Tafsīr Al-'Ilmī. The stages of research methodology consist of four basic steps: First, reducing the data entails summarising, categorizing, and picking the most critical aspects to concentrate on the essentials while searching for substance and patterns. Eventually, the information contained in spoken descriptions will be selected and reduced to its core. In the second step of data classification, the researchers will categorize data based on characteristics according to the research objective. Thirdly, the researcher will organize the data in a mind map according to the object and purpose of the research while displaying the data. The fourth section acknowledges, offers interpretations, and draws a conclusion. This research is included in the primary research category referring to TKT Level two, a concept formulation with an observation of basic principles. The results of this study will be published in the reputable International Journal Al-Bayan University of Malaya, Malaysia, and will become an International conference proceeding publication.
